All investors must be aware that under current legislation a non Bulgarian national must own land through a Bulgarian Limited Company, these laws are currently under review and will change to conform with other EU member states in due course. There are many Bulgarian lawyers who can incorporate a limited company on your behalf (rates approx. £408*²) and as an investor you will also require a Bulgarian bank account which you will need a solicitor and 5,000 Bulgarian Leva (approx. £1701*³) as fully paid up share capital deposited to that account. Once the company has been incorporated, the share capital can be transferred.³A limited company can own more than one property.³
